Waan who is career woman sheds tears secretly every morning.
STORY
Half Thai and half Japanese, and a mother to a child,
Waan acts as a professional and skillful woman.
She faces her daughter,
but her arrogant child Jiabu does not stop crying to Waan's dubious lullabies.
Wan could not be confident as a mother.
She had lost her mother Yai, a greedy person with wanderlust and fond of alcohol,
5 years ago in a drinking accident.
One day, she finds a plum liqueur of her memento.
She wants to know why had she left a plum liqueur,
but she suffers from the fact that her mother died from alcohol.
After refusal and distress, she decides to throw the liqueur away.
However she comes to know that her mother could not drink at all,
and gets confused.
Leaving Jiabu in care, she travels to the mountain region of Chiang Rai Chiang Mai,
the only place in Thailand where plums are produced.
She reaches a village with thatched roofs called Panaceri,
where the small mountain tribe, the Aka people live.
Nobody knew about Yai. Amiwomen who has the same age as Waan),
who grew plums, had no family and felt hatred towards Waan and her feelings toward her mother, but eventually is moved by Waan’s straightforward feelings.
In the midst of such, a plum tree is cut down.
Waan barely flees for her life from the villagers, who accuse her as the criminal.
Waan collapsed from the hard work, growing plum trees.
She wakes up in a hospital to see her husband, daughter and a bottle of plum liqueur.
As a daughter, as a mother, Waan goes to village once more to know her secret with her mother.
